‘The Mat’ combines the function of a pilates machine with the ease & accessibility of a yoga mat. Created as a partnership with Tonal, the at-home-gym company, this newest venture implements semiotics to correct the users form, ensuring the best results. ‘The Mat’ builds confidence and brings the studio to the comfort of your home. ‘The Mat’ is equip with a reformer attachment, bar, boxes, pulley system, and a screen to display videos and provide form correction. The complete set comes with a muscle stimulator belt, sensor bar, and cameras. Led lights are used on the base of ‘The Mat’ to inform the user of where to align their body. A belt equipped with electronic muscle stimulator technology helps the user engage their core. The sensor bar is positioned at the base of the machine which communicates via monitors. The arm and leg monitors are worn as bands and ensure the user is in the frame. Four cameras are set up around the machine. They will capture the users movement and display their form under an outline of the correct form. This allows the user to correct their form.
